Taiba "meaning little village" is a small fisherman's village 65km from Fortaleza (FOR) Int´l Airport in North Western Brazil, 3 degrees south of the equator at only a mere 7 hour flight from Lisbon. Taxi pickup at the airport can be arranged, a 55 min drive at a cost of appr. RS. 200-300 depending on 5 or more persons. Walk straight from your own private pool down the stairs to the beach, a 10 meter walk :-) Stable air and water temp year round with a very nice onshore sea breeze . 28-30C daytime , 22-24 nighttime and 24-26 sea temp. Temp dew-point spread is typically 8-10 degrees: example temp 29 with a dew-point of 19-20 degrees. Therefore Air-condition is seldom needed. Rainy season" with morning and afternoon showers is typically during the months of March thru May.
