Taiba "meaning little village" is a small fisherman's village 65km from Fortaleza (FOR) Int´l Airport in North Western Brazil, 3 degrees south of the equator at only a mere 7 hour flight from Lisbon. Taxi pickup at the airport can be arranged, a 55 min drive at a cost of appr. RS. 200-300 depending on 5 or more persons. Walk straight from your own private pool down the stairs to the beach, a 10 meter walk :-) Stable air and water temp year round with a very nice onshore sea breeze . 28-30C daytime , 22-24 nighttime and 24-26 sea temp. Temp dew-point spread is typically 8-10 degrees: example temp 29 with a dew-point of 19-20 degrees. Therefore Air-condition is seldom needed. Rainy season" with morning and afternoon showers is typically during the months of March thru May. Taiba has several excellent restaurants, and is an idyllic haven for kitesurfing and water sports and relaxation in general Hammocks are located on several locations throughout the garden.
